Well, there is the obvious positive impact of saving paper, ink and the power to run the printer
there is a less obvious positive effect of not adding another piece of paper to the user's life.
Imagine not having another piece of paper that will be handled way too many times, create a mess in your home and office and contribute to that depressed feeling you get when you have to sit down with a box of PAPERS and figure out what is important.
Imagine a set of folders on your computer with neatly alighted, neatly titled pdfs patiently waiting for you to call them up at a moment's notice.
